Northern Lighter Pyrotechnic, Inc. is a non-profit corporation formed for the purposes of promoting the safety, skill and artistry in pyrotechnics through education, research and providing the public with opportunities to enjoy well presented firework displays.  We are one of the oldest all-volunteer fireworks organizations in the United States with formal incorporation dating to 1977.

We support the growth of skill and artistry by serving as the platform by which our members gain experience and knowledge in shooting fireworks, building events, safety training and understanding regulatory compliance.  We also provide service and education to the general public in ways that our experience can contribute to the safe and positive use of fireworks as a unique aspect of our cultural heritage.
